Name Century · SMS Gateway

Three install paths — do not mix them

A / B = software on Name Century cloud. C = Automation-style install on their VPS / host (same class as auto.namecentury.com on NV’s server).

Host ≠ domain. Case B puts the customer’s domain on NC servers. Case C installs the stack on the customer’s (or NV’s) VPS — DNS points to their IP, not VPS1. Auto dealer Automation is the Case C reference, not Case A shared SaaS.

All NC plans include (parity target)

Feature set aligned with common SMS gateway plans ((e.g. sms-gateway.app) — not sold à la carte. Read the Bulk send notice below before assuming high-volume rights.

Included feature What it means (NC) Status
Bulk send (tool) App/portal convenience only: send to many numbers in one action, import from file/CSV, and/or schedule by date, time, and timezone. Not a legal permit to blast high volume. UX/API roadmap · labeled clearly
MMS support Multimedia messages where the agent/SIM path supports it Stub / receive — full send roadmap
Two-way SMS Send outbound + Inbox inbound on your agent line Live
USSD integration Optional later — not required for OTP / transactional wedge Not Module A — do not advertise as shipped
Webhooks HTTPS callbacks for inbound / events Live
Analytics Delivery / volume visibility in portal Basic — charts expanding

Safe marketing line: “All plans include Two-way SMS, Webhooks, Analytics, and Bulk-send tools (multi-number / file / schedule). High-volume sending in California requires separate legal registration and compliance — not granted by the feature alone.”

Customer org portal — resell & control

When you buy from Name Century, your management portal is built for you to run your own users — not only Send / Inbox.

Capability Who controls Detail
NC subscription Name Century → your org Billed monthly or yearly (Cloud / Brand / Self-Host SKUs)
Create users Your org admin Add seats for register + use (portal login + APK)
Your price to users You Set any monthly price you want when reselling — NC does not set your retail
Charge users monthly Your org billing Collect from your end-users every month inside the portal tools
SMS quota / user / month Your org admin Limit how many messages each user may send per month — editable anytime
California registration tool In your management portal Register / track compliance for high-volume use — separate from Bulk-send buttons

Two price layers: You pay Name Century (month/year). You create users and charge them at your rates. Quotas and CA registration live in your admin pages so end-users are not confused with NC billing.

Case A — Setup (NC cloud subdomain)

  1. Sign up → verify → Portal.
  2. Choose Case A → enter slug → Save → URL auto-built.
  3. APK: Server api.namecentury.one · Email · Password → Allow SMS → Online.

Case B — Setup (brand domain, still NC host)

  1. Buy Brand ($99) → Portal → Case B → enter sms… / api-sms….
  2. At registrar: CNAME both → sg-edge.namecentury.one (not to a customer VPS).
  3. Verify → NC attaches TLS + theme → APK Server = customer API host.

Case C — Setup (install on their / NV host)

Pattern: auto.namecentury.com Automation on NV VPS — software + theme on infrastructure they control.

  1. Purchase Self-Host → receive license key + install package (compose / Node bundle).
  2. Prepare their Ubuntu VPS (public IP, ports 80/443).
  3. Run installer on their machine → portal + API bind locally.
  4. DNS: A/AAAA for their domain → their VPS IP (not Name Century VPS1).
  5. TLS on their host (script or certbot) → theme preset applied.
  6. APK Server = API hostname on their domain · Email · Password.
  7. Optional: pay Install assist ($500) — temporary SSH for NC to deploy once.
